San Francisco Bay Area Special Education Law & Advocacy
“In 2002, I sat on an exam-room carpet with my daughter while a psychologist from Children’s Hospital Oakland informed me that my daughter’s language loss and obliviousness had nothing to do with her hearing and everything to do with a neurological condition: autism. Today, thanks to my special education advocacy and a team of specialists, that little girl is a chatty, empathetic young adult who is interested in Lady Gaga, autism rights, animals, drama, and manga, anything Pokémon, and cosplay.” -Betsy Brazy, Esq.
Both federal and state law require California to give therapeutic and educational support for students with disabilities. Getting that support requires determination, advocacy, and legal knowledge. We help people in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout California to work within the special education system. The Law Office of Betsy Brazy is dedicated to helping students achieve their potential and to fighting for their educational rights, and to preserving the family’s rights along the way.
